We are set in beautiful countryside with fabulous walking right from our doorstep – ideal for a meal or a few drinks before you walk! We are located right next to beautiful Rudyard Lake and close to the Steam Railway all set in the area loved by Rudyard Kipling. The hotel is just 2 miles north-west of the market town of Leek. Alton Towers Theme Park is a 20-minute drive away, while The Roaches and the National Park can be reached in 10 minutes. The surrounding area is ideal for scenic walks.

Our restaurant serves our great family dining daily and a delicious Sunday Carvery served from 12 – 6 pm alongside a selection weekly changing Sunday Specials. Our 3 dining pods are available to hire for dining and private events for up to 6 people per pod. With spectacular views to Rudyard Lake they are the perfect place to relax in privacy and comfort with friends and family. Our delightful dog friendly coffee shop is open from 10 am to 4 pm daily serving teas, coffees, cakes, hot and cold snacks and ice creams.

Hotel Rudyard has 12 attractive rooms, restaurant and well stocked bar. Each room at Hotel Rudyard has an en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee-making facilities. We also have two lovely cottages to rent – ideal for family groups.
